Halcrow (China) and Changsha Architectural Design Institute formed a consortium and jointly participated in the conceptual urban design project of China Ceramics – Porcelain Town. The planning process considered, explored and designed the future development of the North Area of the Liling Economic Development Zone, focusing on four levels of design; cultural mining, overall design, core design and special design. The planning determines to create a porcelain-centered industrial chain and network with “execution, creativity and influence” acting as a starting point. The design seeks to; promote industrial development and enhance product competitiveness through space design, consolidate its industrial status through the construction of a multi-associated industrial network, as well as provide a stable and efficient dreaming opportunity through the implementation of high quality material space. Through this, the project seeks to spark creativity through industrial transformation, and promote industry competition through the influence of construction. Finally, we will rely on Liling porcelain to create the Liling dreams again based on the North Area!

Halcrow英国合乐（中国）与长沙建筑设计研究院组成联合体，共同参与中国陶瓷谷——瓷栖小镇概念城市设计项目，本次规划设计从文化挖掘、总体设计、核心设计、专项设计四个层面出发，对未来醴陵经济开发区城北片区发展进行了思考、探索和设计。规划确定以“执行力、创造力、影响力”三个词为出发点，营造多样的、关联的、以瓷为核心的产业链、网，通过空间设计促进产业培育，提升产品竞争力；通过建设多关联产业网巩固产业地位；通过高实施性的物质空间提供稳固高效的造梦抓手。最终通过创造力营造实现产业转型突破；通过影响力建设，推进产业竞争升级；通过执行力营建，确保实施抓手。最终达到依托醴瓷，立足城北、再造醴梦！
