The site is located in the intersection between the Longhu Middle Ring Road and the Longyuan Fourth Street and the whole plot integrates with the one-stop community services, meeting the requirements of the surrounding residents on convenient services, cultural entertainment, nursing medical treatment, regional culture and other functions. The plan achieves the convenient transportation and parking. It creates the diversified street experience and form the multidirectional spatial association. The ground building area is about 84,004.19 m2. Therein, the comprehensive cultural exhibition center covers the building area of 26,918.38 m2 and the comprehensive cultural research center covers the building area of 45,589.98 m2, and the public facilities cover the building area of 10,005.14 m2.
With the review and research analysis of the urban traffic, urban public space, plot value and other various factors, and combining with the plot characteristics, the surrounding restricted conditions and other multiple factors, Halcrow proposes the tower in the south of the plot. While the convenient service center is connected with the various function spaces and social parking lot by combining with the light rail station. It can not only enrich the life atmosphere of the whole plot, but also provide the city with the dynamic public space.
