The site is located in Lishui Zhetang District of Nanjing covering an area of about 1.2 square kilometres.
The project focuses on creating an interested center, representing historic culture of the mountain and water city with Nanjing Lishui’s unique characteristics to avoid the monotony of urban concrete forests.
Detailed design includes distinctive regional urban landscape based on the diversity of urban functions and space experiences, the multi-functional and multi-layer comprehensive open system, different scales of water space, natural ecological green space, public open space and waterfront gateways.
