Huaian Forest Park is located in the north corner of Lake Baima, the east side of Huaijin Highway, the north side of Dadang River, and the sides of the tourism highway, connecting the ring thoroughfare of Lake Baima. Stretching across two administrative areas (Huaian District and Hongze Town), most of this project are the basic agricultural land while some parts in the north of the tourism highway are the construction land, including some villages. The area covers about 12000mu.

Forest characteristics are highlighted through four methods with forming up the ecological forest; remolding the forest form; building up the theme landscape forest and develop the suitable-scale economic forest to realize the diversified plants recovery and create the abundant forest landscape and forest ecological environment.

Exhibition characteristics are highlighted for the creative exhibition content, demonstrating way and experience method.

Water characteristics are highlighted for respecting the present river system to create the core river system in the park, show the design characteristics of the project plan, and form up a leisure ecological conservation forest park as “Colorful, Leisure, Water Loving and People Loving”.
